This recipe can be made with pork or beef ribs. Both are delicious.
Yields: Serves 4
- Dry Rub
- 4 tsp mustard powder
- 3tsp ground ginger
- 2tsp caster sugar
- 1kg beef ribs
- 1 small onion, peeled and chopped
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
- 4tbs lemon juice
- 6tbs tomato sauce
- 6tbs Worcestershire sauce
Mix dry ingredients together and coat the ribs.
Fry ribs in oil until brown all over.
Place rib in a casserole dish.
Fry onion and garlic until soft.
Add remaining ingredients (except the cornflour) and bring to boil.
Mix cornflour with a little water and add to sauce. Cook for 2 - 3 minutes and then pour sauce over ribs.
Cook for 45 - 60 minutes at 200C
